PM suggests task force to deal with terror
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday suggested setting up of a task force to initiate a 100-day plan to address "emerging challenges" in the areas of terrorism, naxalism and insurgency. "I suggest establishment of a task force which would initiate a 100-day plan to develop an integrated capability to address emerging challenges in areas such as left wing extremism, terrorism and insurgency," Singh said addressing the conference of the country's top police officers in New Delhi.
