Police Security Beefed Up After Mumbai's Migrant Incident
After the incident in Mumbai's Bandra on Tuesday where thousands of migrant workers gathered to go home, Mumbai Police beefed up the security of the area and cordoned off Shashtri Nagar where the migrants live. The incident highlighted the plight of migrants living in Mumbai and those wanting to go back home. But Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray tried to pacify the workers and appealed to them to stay where they are as state will take care of them.
