A political blame game has broken out over Tuesday's violence in Delhi duringthe farmers' protest. The Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah over the violence. The government on Wednesday denounced the unprecedented violence at the farmers' tractor rally on Republic Day, saying, "it can't be condemned enough".Delhi Police has issued a notice to farmer leader Darshan Pal over the violence, asking why legal action should not be taken against him. Actor-activist Deep Sidhu, whom farmers have accused of being responsible for the violence, has been named in a case filed by the Delhi Police. Meanwhile, protesting farmers were evicted from the Delhi-Saharanpur highway with officials in Uttar Pradesh saying no force was used.
