Poll Body Wraps Up Draft Delimitation Hearing In Assam
The Election commission of India has wrapped up its 3-day camp for public hearings on over 6,000 suggestions and objections the EC has received from Assam after they published the crucial Assam delimitation of assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies. The process has been in limbo for 14 years and many are questioning the timing of the exercise as it comes months before the 2024 general elections. Ratnadip Choudhury reports from Guwahati.
