Ponniyin Selvan: Dressing Up The Cholas, Mani Ratnam Style
After Baahubali and Pushpa, a new film from the south that is hoping to create a big splash across the country and outside is Mani Ratnam's dream project: Ponniyin Selvan (the son of Ponni) or PS1... that releases on Friday. For the film that reportedly cost 500 crore rupees, the master director roped in A R Rahman for the music, Ravi Varman for cinematography and Thota Tharani for the art... For the visual voice of the characters, stylist Eka Lakhani and and jewel designers Pratiksha Prashant were brought in.
