Poonch: Woman candidates take lead
Jammu and Kashmir will be going to polls in the first phase on Monday. And for the first time, two women candidates are in the fray from Poonch. Tabassum Chowdhary is busy these days campaigning in the border areas of Poonch. A graduate, she is the first woman ever to contest elections in this remote militancy-hit district. She is banking heavily on women voters, and no, she isn't making big promises.
