Portugal questions India on Salem torture claims

Barely six months after the successful extradition of Underworld don Abu Salem, a diplomatic tiff between India and Portugal has ensued. After reports were published in Portugal about Abu Salem's alleged torture by police authorities the foreign office has asked Indian authorities to explain, since torture is against the agreements of the extradition treaty.
