Potato Farmers In UP's Kannauj Speak Out, State Their Problems
Uttar Pradesh's Kannauj is the potato belt of the state. Kannauj produces maximum number of potatoes in the state however the prices are not what they should be. A potato farmer says he wants potato farming to be a major issue. The farmer says he wants a proper potato industry in the state so that they get the right price for their potatoes instead of throwing them on the street. He also said the Akhilesh Yadav government gave the farmers hope however that was taken away after he lost the last elections.
