Poultry industry upbeat despite recession
Whether its eggs or chicken, the poultry industry in India is seeing growth despite troubled times. And the potential is so great that foreign hatcheries are keen to invest in the Indian poultry market. "We aim to increase the level in automation in India in the next 5-10 years. We don't want to reduce labour but increase efficiency," said Mike Ward, manager, Prinzen Hatcheries.
