Power crisis: Maharashtra villages bear brunt
Villages in Maharashtra are the worst hit as the state faces an acute power shortage. Mumbai is protected but there are power cuts in rural areas for up to 14 hours a day and smaller cities suffer from power cuts up to six hours a day.
