Power, gas trading at exchanges soon

Soon natural gas might be priced the way dal or spices are by being traded among buyers and sellers in commodity exchanges. That could make the gas price fight between Reliance and NTPC and RNRL a thing of the past. Commodities exchange NCDEX has told NDTV that it wants to start gas trading within the next year. It is also talking with Power Grid Corporation for technical support to get the power exchange started.
