Powerful Twin Earthquake In Myanmar, Felt In Bangkok | State Of Emergency Declared

Central Myanmar was jolted by two powerful earthquakes...measuring 7.7 and 6.4 magnitude....early Friday morning, sending shockwaves that were felt as far as Thailand. Collapsed bridges and buildings, shaking skyscrapers with water from infinity pools falling hundreds of feet to the ground, and panicked people running out onto the streets, scenes that followed the massive quake. The earthquake struck 18km from the city of Sagaing in Myanmar at 12.50 pm Friday. Reports suggest that mild tremors were also reported from Kolkata in Bengal and parts of Manipur, as well as Dhaka and Chattogram in Bangladesh. Watch The World Report for the latest updates.
