Former President Pranab Mukherjee's daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee in her upcoming book "In Pranab, My Father: A Daughter Remembers" provides a glimpse into the illustrious life of her father, where she also says he did not have any rancour against Sonia Gandhi for not making him the Prime Minister, and definitely not against the man chosen - Manmohan Singh. "My father used to write diaries. He left them with me. He also told journalists he left the diaries 'with my daughter', she is going to write about it. But of course he said the diaries can't be published. And this is not a publication of his diaries. There are much information in the diaries that should not come out in the public domain. I have left out many parts of what he thought about Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, or the current Prime Minister... The media makes it controversial, though it is not controversial. He was privy to many thing which are not suitable to be brought to the public domain as yet," Ms Mukherjee told NDTV.
