Pranab says 2G note had inputs from different ministries: Sources
Despite a solid week in the headlines, a note against Home Minister P Chidambaram prepared by the Finance Ministry is generating new political frenzy. In a letter that he allegedly gave to the Prime Minister when they met in New York, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has described the controversial note as "a background note." Sources say a copy of Mr Mukherjee's letter of explanation has also been given to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
