Janata Dal (United) chief Rajiv Ranjan has denied Chief Minister Nitish Kumar or the party approached election strategist Prashant Kishor to join, amid speculation the ruling party in Bihar was interested in bringing in Mr Kishor in its fold again. "Prashant Kishor is a businessman, in the business of cooking up stories," the JD(U) chief said. "He uses the media to plant stories," Rajiv Ranjan said. Nitish Kumar and Prashant Kishor met for 45 minutes on September 14, triggering speculation of a collaboration in the 2024 national election.
