New Low In Parliament: Scuffle, Injuries, Barbs And FIRs
Protests, counterprotests, brawls and an attempt-to-murder police complaint against Rahul Gandhi all roiled Parliament on Thursday, with the BJP and Congress trading allegations of using force to prevent MPs from the opposite side from entering the building. The protests were the result of a row which began after Amit Shah's remarks on BR Ambedkar on Tuesday. The BJP also launched an all-out attack against Mr Gandhi and, in a reference to the Congress leader's black belt in Aikido - a Japanese martial art form - Union Minister Kiren Rijiju asked, "Have you learnt Karate, Kung Fu, to beat other MPs?"
