The world's largest spiritual gathering, the Mahakumbh, has begun in the historic city of Prayagraj, attracting millions of pilgrims and devotees from over 50 countries. This year's event is being hailed as the biggest and most sustainable Mahakumbh in history, with an expected turnout of 40 crore pilgrims.
Among the global participants is Naga Sadhu Anjanagiri from Italy, who has joined the festivities with thousands from the Atal Akhara, one of the oldest spiritual orders. The Mahakumbh holds deep religious significance as devotees take a holy dip at the Sangam, a sacred confluence of rivers, in a celebration of faith and unity.
