President Murmu Arrives In Serbia For State Visit

President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday received a rousing welcome from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the Presidential Palace in Serbia. Serbian President welcomed the President with the highest state honours, and Guards of the Serbian Army lined up singing the anthems of the two countries. After the ceremonial welcome, delegation-level talks were held between President Murmu and her Serbian counterpart at the Serbian Palace. President Murmu is in Serbia from June 07 to June 09. Earlier, Droupadi Murmu was in Suriname at the invitation of Suriname President Chandrikapersad Santokhi.
