Price Hike to Not Impact Volumes: Eveready Industries

Amritanshu Khaitan, executive director at Eveready Industries, tells NDTV that the company does not expect an impact on sales volumes of batteries after hiking battery prices by 2 per cent. On its lighting business, Eveready is encouraged by the government's campaign to increase use of LED lights and sees a significant uptick in turnover from the lighting segment from the first quarter of FY16. But for making LED in India, the industry would need a lot of incentives.
