Price war simmering in India's DTH industry
After months of speculation, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, is close to launching its direct to home service, Big TV as early as next week. And with a fierce competitor on board, existing market players, Dish TV and Tata Sky are looking at new ways to diversify and maintain market shares. A Big TV spokesman confirmed that DTH services will be launched soon and as expected Tata Sky and Dish TV are already gearing up for competition.
