Prices of 886 medicines slashed: Paswan

Chemicals Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and his battery of bureaucrats on Tuesday released a list of 886 drugs whose prices drug makers have agreed to cut. The price cuts on generic and branded generic drugs range from two to 74 per cent. About 11 big pharma companies like Lupin and Cadila have agreed to slash rates.
