Priyanka Chopra Recalls Her Initial Days Acting In Hollywood: "It Was Difficult..."

Priyanka Chopra during an interview with PTI recalled her Quantico days when asked about her shift from Indian cinemas to Hollywood. She said, "In the beginning when I first started acting in America a lot of directors would come and say, 'You know what Priyanka just throw it away' and I didn't know what 'throw it  away' meant. I was confused and I didn't want to look like an idiot so I went and asked one of my co-actors (this was in Quantico a long time ago when I first started working... first episode or something) and they said don't say it with any emotions and it clicked in my head that oh that's the difference between when they act in American movies and we act in Indian movies." Priyanka added, "Now obviously after working for so long my brain is kind of adjusted, but at the beginning, that was difficult like approaching a scene without being dramatic." (Video credit: PTI)
