"Everybody Stopped In Larger Public Interest": Senior UP Cop On Priyanka Gandhi's Arrest
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, lodged at a guest house in UP's Sitapur since her arrest on Monday, was released today to join the Congress team, which met the families of farmers who were mowed down by a minister's car in Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday. Speaking to NDTV, Additional Director General of the state police, Prahsant Kumar, said everybody, including Priyanka Gandhi, was stopped from visiting the district in larger public interest.
