Protesters To Erase Hindi Signboards At This Tamil Nadu Station
The Dravidar Kazhagam, the parent body of the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, is holding an anti-Hindi agitation. The members plan to take a rally to the Egmore Railway Station to erase the Hindi information on the signboard. Home Minister Amit Shah's recent suggestion to replace English with Hindi as the link language between states and the centre has touched a raw nerve. Even the state BJP is opposing Hindi imposition.
