Protests At BJP's Haryana Office, Led By Farmers Union Leader
Hundreds of protesters are participating in the protest outside the BJP office in Rohtak despite prohibitory orders and heavily deployed police personnel in the city. The protest was called by farmers union leader Gurnam Singh Charuni. Mr Charuni told NDTV that farmers and soldiers are parts of the same family and that is why he is fighting for their rights. Ex-servicemen as well as teachers of army recruitment coaching Centres said that the government's new scheme has left army aspirants in a lurch.
