Srinagar continues to simmer over the transfer of forest land to the Amaranth shrine board. After Friday prayers, it was procession after procession everywhere in the city. It was a reminder of 1990 when the Valley revolted against New Delhi's rule. Hopes of a solution from Governor NN Vohra the chairman of the shrine board have faded after stiff resistance from parties in Jammu, including the ruling Congress.
