Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar has hit out at the previous YSR Congress government, blaming them for an alleged rice mafia in the state. He said it was the YSRCP government which removed fair price shops that triggered pilferage in the public distribution system and encouraged the rise of the rice mafia. Mr Manohar said the previous YS Jagan Reddy government gave a 41 per cent stake in Kakinada port to a realty firm, Aurobindo Realty. The minister alleged Aurobindo Realty is a front Mr Reddy.
