Three rationalists are murdered in India in the last two years for following an ideology that angers fundamentalists. But that doesn’t deter the movement. The ideology has always been part of the Indian tradition. We bring you the story of the Tarksheel society in Punjab, one of India’s strongest rationalist movements founded in 1984. These people have been subjected to constant attacks and death threats but they continue their work undeterred through unique strategies. This includes holding Tarksheel Melas across the state, building a strong support base in the process.
