Punjab Cops Give In To Pro-Khalistan Preacher, Extremists Holding State To Ransom
An aide of a self-styled religious preacher in Punjab will be released from custody, said the Punjab police on Thursday after hundreds of his supporters overran a police station near Amritsar protesting his arrest. The police were overwhelmed by a Khalistan supporter and hundreds of his followers. This is not the first time that we have seen cults go berserk in Punjab.
