Punjab polls: Amrinder Singh files nomination
Former Punjab chief minister and Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh filed his nomination from Patiala amid large number of supporters on Tuesday. Royal family of Patiala has a strong political standing here. Amrinder's wife Preneet Kaur is the sitting MP from Patiala and their son Raninder Singh is contesting from Samana, another safe seat for the royal family.
