Punjab To Give Rs 1 Core To Families of Soldiers, Policemen Killed In Line Of Duty: Arvind Kejriwal
"Punjab is the sacred land of martyrs, where every family contributes family members to the military. Regrettably, past governments overlooked the needs of martyr's families. Breaking this trend, the AAP government is honoring every soldier, every police officer killed in the line of duty by providing their families with Rs 1 crore," said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, adding that it is to show that the government and the state is with the family.
