There was hectic activity in the telecom space as telecom major Vodafone's Chief Executive Officer Arun Sarin spent his day meeting key investors and ministers. He said he is close to making an offer for India's Hutchison Essar Ltd. that will give him a 16 per cent share of the world's fastest-growing mobile-phone market.
