Raghuram Rajan On Democracy And Development At The 'India At 75' Lecture Series
Raghuram Rajan speaking on democracy and development at the 'India at 75' lecture series, said it is in India's best interest to strengthen liberal democracy, and the country can become a "Vishwa Guru," but not based on ideas of the past. Mr Rajan added that neglect of human capital in India is problematic, and the country's slow growth is not just because of the pandemic but faltering because of failure of leadership.
