Rahul Gandhi assumes new role
Tuesday was a big day for another young man, Rahul Gandhi. A day after the Congress named Rahul Gandhi as the new general secretary of the party, the Amethi MP attended office accompanied by his mother and party president Sonia Gandhi.Rahul, however, is not expected to assume responsibilities immediately since he is travelling to New York with his mother. Sonia Gandhi will address the UN General Assembly on October 2, to commemorate the International Day of Non-Violence.
