Rahul Gandhi Disqualified As MP After "Bizarre" Sentence, Says Kapil Sibal | Read
Legal luminary and former Union law minister Kapil Sibal today said while Congress's Rahul Gandhi stands automatically disqualified as an MP with his two-year jail sentence, the sentence itself is "bizarre". Mr Gandhi has received a two-year jail sentence from a court in Gujarat over his remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has also got bail for 30 days, giving him time to file an appeal against the verdict.
