Rain Holiday For Schools, Colleges In Chennai
Schools and colleges in Chennai and few other districts besides Puducherry have been closed following heavy rain last night. Chennai received upto 71.4 mm rain over the last 24 hours. The MeT department has forecast isolated heavy rains in the city this morning and moderate to heavy rains in several districts till Monday. The state government says disaster relief teams are on standby.
