After Rain Red Alert, Holiday For Schools, Colleges In Telangana
After heavy rain on Monday and a red alert for more showers, Telangana declared a holiday for schools, colleges and offices, advising people to stay home. Several low-lying areas in Hyderabad were inundated. In another Telangana town, Sircilla, a tractor and JCB had to be brought in to rescue the collector and other officials who were stuck overnight inside the collectorate following rain and inundation.
