There was heavy rain in many parts of Maharashtra on Thursday, throwing life out of gear. Heavy rainfall and flooding were seen in several districts. The weather office has warned that the next few hours are crucial. A red alert has been issued till tomorrow morning. Several flights and trains were affected in Mumbai. In Pune, three people were electrocuted in waist-deep water. A bridge was washed away in Raigad. Teams of the NDRF have been deployed.
