Rajasthan Government's Decision To Merge 449 Schools Sparks Protest
Rajasthan government's decision to merge 449 state-owned schools has sparked a massive protest by the parents. After the merger, some students have been shifted to another school within a five kilometer radius, leading to many of them dropping out.
"My father fell sick so my sister and I were forced to leave school as we could not go unaccompanied. There was no one at home to drop us to school," a girl told NDTV.
