Rajasthan Waters Down Coaching Centres Bill, Removes Age Limit
Rajasthan News | To curb student suicides, the Rajasthan government tabled the Rajasthan Coaching Centres Bill, which makes it mandatory for all coaching centres to register themselves with the state. However, one of the key provisions of the bill has been watered down. There is no age limit for any student to join the coaching centres. The draft bill had earlier said that children below the age of 16 could not enrol. The Rajasthan government has also made the aptitude test optional for students.
