Rajasthan's uterus scam: 226 uteruses removed in 6 months
An RTI application in Rajasthan's Dausa district has revealed that women were forced to undergo hysterectomies for the profit of private hospitals. In six months, three hospitals in a small town called Bandikuian conducted 385 operations on women patients and of these more than 226 were to remove uteruses.
