Rajasthan Worked On Stopping The Transmission And Treatment: Rohit Kumar Singh On COVID-19
Rohit Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Rajasthan joined the 12-hour #SwasthyaMantra telethon where he talked about his state's fight against COVID-19. Mr Singh said that when the infection came to Rajasthan, they worked on 2 fronts - stopping the transmission and treating the people infected. He further explained that they have engaged self-help groups of women, that collectively have more than 20 lakh members. These women are being trained to sensitise the people of Rajasthan about the pandemic and vaccination.
