Jammu Village Defence Groups Get New Weapons After Terrorist Attacks

The villagers part of civilian defence groups are being armed with self-loading rifles (SLRs) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district to defend themselves against terrorist attacks. The village defence groups were already armed with 0.303 rifles. The massive arming drive started in Dangri village where terrorists targeted three Hindu families and killed seven people recently.
