Rally held to demand repeal of Section 377
Representatives of sexual minorities gathered in Bangalore to call for the repeal of Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, an Act which makes homosexuality illegal. The rally was part of the National Campaign for Sexuality Rights. Similar events have been planned around the country in a bid to generate greater support for the rights of sexual minorities.
