Ranchi faces water woes

After two straight years of a bad monsoon in Jharkhand, Ranchi is facing its worst water crisis in years. Extremely low water levels in dams meant to supply water to the city, have led to huge queues. The situation is so bad that the Jharkhand government has announced strict water rationing measures.
