Rashtriya Janata Dal Confident Of Win, Says It Will Be People's Victory
Anyone who underestimates their opponent will lose, Rashtriya Janata Dal's Samastipur sitting candidate Akhtarul Islam said, declaring a win for the Mahagathbandhan. Dismissing claims that the RJD only enjoys the support of the Yadav and Muslim communities, Mr Islam said his party has always had people's support. "This support has increased. People in NDA and JD(U) have not been able to gauge this… I am confident we will win in Samastipur and in Bihar because the people had decided much before counting started today. We, MLAs or the party, will not celebrate if we win, people will," he said.
