Amid a neck-and-neck race for the throne to Patna, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supporters exuded confidence that the Mahagathbandhan, or the Grand Alliance, would win. "The idea of hatred politics is going to lose in this election… Mahagathbandhan's loss in Bihar would be a mockery of democracy. People are tired of Modi ji and Nitish ji's idea of development… Tejshwi Yadav just focused on medical infrastructure, farming and jobs. Nitish ji and Modi ji just harped about 'Jungle Raj'," Mohammad Hasan, a youth leader and RJD supporter said. The feeling was backed by an-looker who reiterated that the "Jungle Raj" attack may have done more harm than good to the National Democratic Alliance.
