RBI rate cut as expected: C. Rangarajan

The Reserve Bank of India today cut rates by 25 basis points as was widely expected, but a cautious statement left markets nervous. Dr. C. Rangarajan supports the move, but bankers say it may not translate into lower rates for borrowers.
