RBI rate cuts look difficult in current scenario: PV Bhide
Former revenue secretary P.V. Bhide tells NDTV Profit that the government's job at hand is tough and one should not expect a miracle or sea change. He, however, expects the upward momentum in macro-fundamentals to be maintained and the government is likely to be able to contain the upward pressure on the fiscal deficit. Mr. Bhide says there is not much hope of monetary easing from the RBI given the volatile economic and currency situation.
