Suresh Mahadevan, managing director and head of Asia (telecom & media research) at UBS, told NDTV, that telecom stocks look extremely cheap now compared to the growth opportunities in the data segment. Reliance Jio launch is likely to be positive for the telecom sector and will lead to re-rating of telecom stocks, he added.
